Sansidor embraces electra inspecties with acquisition of IGN

With pride we like to call the professionals of Inspectie Groep Nederland (IGN+SPM) members of the Sansidor Group! IGN is a quality-driven, technical inspection company with a healthy dose of flair that fits perfectly within the services of the Sansidor Group.
Within the six sectors in which Sansidor is active – air quality, water quality, fire safety, electricity inspections, infection prevention and SCIOS inspections – a strong specialist in electrical inspections and testing (including to prevent fires) was missing. Since 1992, IGN has been providing technical services throughout the country with inspections of electrical installations and resources, which also include thermographic cameras.
“Now that IGN has become part of Sansidor, customers of all Sansidor companies can leverage IGN’s knowledge and expertise. That fits within the Buy & Build. Together strategy that Sansidor is pursuing”, says Udo Waltman, director of Sansidor: “We want to build a broad portfolio of strong, local companies within our TIC network. IGN is exactly that: knowledgeable, efficient and loved by a wide customer base. Together we want to build on that and utilize the power of the total network.”
Marcel Vermeiren and Jan van Kessel, both directors at IGN, will remain closely involved with IGN. Vermeiren: “Service to our customers is always number one, also within this takeover. Sansidor continues to grow in this way, further developing within the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry. In the coming year, Sansidor hopes to add new companies to the team of specialists thoughout the Netherlands.
