Ortageo and Sansidor join forces, welcome to the Sansidor family!

Almelo, June 19, 2025 – Sansidor is proud to announce that as of today, Ortageo is officially part of the Sansidor Group. This independent consulting firm, with offices in Almelo, Weurt, Gouda and Rolde, has specialized in soil investigation, geotechnical engineering, geohydrology, remediation supervision and asbestos inventory. Ortageo serves a broad clientele, including contractors, property developers, engineering firms, municipalities, water boards and other authorities within the construction, infrastructure and environmental sectors throughout the Netherlands.

Ortageo has built a strong reputation in providing thoughtful and independent advice. With their in-depth knowledge of subsurface and environmental risks, they contribute to the safe and responsible design of sites for living, working and recreation.

Their approach is technically sound, practically applicable and always tailored to the client’s specific situation. From preliminary investigation to execution, Ortageo offers support in the full range of soil issues, with an eye for safety, sustainability and cost efficiency.

Joining Sansidor fits perfectly with the network’s growth strategy, which focuses on safety, health and sustainability. With Ortageo, the network is further strengthened within the field of Soil, Infra & Environment – an area where other specialists within Sansidor are also active.

Ortageo will continue to carry out its activities as customers are accustomed to. Daily management will remain in the hands of Eric Schildkamp (General Director) and Wim Hoitzing (Operational Director), thus ensuring continuity and quality. Paul Kuipers, who until recently was the owner and had previously withdrawn from the daily operations, is now formally handing over the baton and will remain connected in the background as ambassador of the company.

Paul Kuipers, founder of Ortageo:
“It feels good to entrust Ortageo to an organization like Sansidor. The connection has been carefully prepared and I am convinced that Eric, Wim and the team can grow even better this way. The network offers substantive reinforcement and room to retain the individuality of Ortageo. A great moment for the company and for our people.”

Eric Schildkamp and Wim Hoitzing, Ortageo management:
“We are looking forward to this cooperation. The Sansidor network offers us the opportunity to further professionalize while maintaining our identity. The support in areas such as HR, IT and marketing allows us to focus even more on our substantive role as consultants. Moreover, the network opens the door to knowledge sharing and cooperation with other specialists in the field of Soil, Infra & Environment.”

Udo Waltman, CEO of Sansidor:
“In recent years, under the leadership of Paul and later Eric and Wim, Ortageo has grown into a wonderful and professional inspection and consulting company. Their vision, commitment and entrepreneurial spirit have laid the foundation for what the company is today. We are pleased that Paul is carefully overseeing the transfer and has full confidence in Eric and Wim as eiding. We fully share that confidence.
